For optimal results, AutoPot recommends an airy substrate mix with a high proportion of expanded clay or perlite. A mixture of 50% perlite/expanded clay and 50% coco substrate or soil is ideal. To prevent waterlogging, the bottom 3-5 cm of each pot should be filled with expanded clay. Alternatively, an Airbase can be used.
